Bexon recommend the use of a Gantrail resilient pad in your crane rail system. A pad can significantly reduce stress in the rail and the structure, since pad gives an even spread of the load. Gantrail pads eliminate fretting between the rail and structure and dampens vibration and noise.
Gantrail resilient pads are offered in Mark 2 individual pads, in various widths and are cut to suit the rail. Gantrail Mark 7 and the new Mark 8 pad with improved surface design, are steel reinforced pads for use in continuous supported applications. These pads offer many advantages and are also provided in specific widths suitable to all crane rails.
The Gantrail pad protects the crane mechanism and increases rail, wheel, bearing and axle life.
